Just a quick post this evening. We went through to Whangarei today for supplies and various other things. Dropped wee Bert off at DogZone for the day, and tonight he’s happily exhausted (that makes two of us). Lots of traffic on the road as we are on the diversion north with State Highway 1 closed, but I found a few gaps to indulge in my favourite hobby of taking photographs as we sped along. Unfortunately, the morning light meant that the best shots would have been out the driver’s side. Rod did offer to swap but shooting and driving don’t mix…
