Starting to get my act back together… Not really happy with this, but at least I’m painting again.
Any critiques or suggestions from artist friends would be welcome…
Still having a lot of fun with watercolours – but finding I have the same problem with paint as I do with words. Too much control. I just can’t seem to let words or the paint flow. I’m working on that. In the meantime these two paintings are growing slowly as I learn new techniques and just allow myself to be patient…
with the flow
we are all travelers
under a distant sky
feeling the currents of life
washing over us
but there is still time
for one more song
before the night falls

I found this wonderful image when I was surfing the net, and now I don’t know where it came from – (my memory gets worse with age) – but I had to write a poem for it. If you now where it is from let me know so I can give it its proper attribution…
I can now tell you that this photograph was taken by Sandi Pray for ‘Frameless Sky’.
