Been so looking forward to the big blood moon tonight, but after days of brilliant weather the clouds are coming across. These black and white shots from a block being demolished at a local school match my sombre mood…

the world’s pain
We were lucky enough to visit the Whanganui Glass-works and see some beautiful work. The one shown in the photo is by Carmen Simmonds I think. I was fascinated by all the different facets that showed whenever you slightly altered position, and the underwater effect from the bubbles in the glass.
