WONDERFUL, GLORIOUS MUD

Shortly after this low tide photo was taken, Bert could resist no longer, and leapt down to have a wonderful time in the mud.  We called him back but he took his time!  Consequences when we got home…

follow me, follow
and let us all wallow
in wonderful
glorious
mud

(with apologies to the hippopotamus song)

  1. I still love mud. My mom used to tell us how they would look for the smoothest, flattest mud and carve fudge squares into it. I still do this mentally every time I see mud!
