Mangonui is a great little town situated in Doubtless Bay in the Far North of New Zealand. A very peaceful place to visit, and to sample the offerings at its famous fish and chip shop.

I think I may have been there when I was very young; about 8 years old. The name sounds familiar. When we were young our parents took us all around both the North and South Islands but I don’t remember a great deal of the trips.
I love the photo of the old boat — beautiful colors!
Thanks – that’s the attraction of old boats
…no doubt!
Very nice! I’d love a visit Doubtless Bay. The window on the water is wonderful! I really like the rusty boat shot too.
