Stars track the sky
beacons
from a distant past
lying about the future
pretending we are not alone
quasars
older than the universe
star-singing eternity
out of the darkness

Love the accompanying photo. Do you get clear night skies which allow lots of star gazing?
As you will be able to see on the post the photo isn’t mine. I don’t have equipment good enough for a decent star shot. It’s actually from NASA Rod and Maureen Sudlow http://www.kiwis-soar.com
Right now as the temperature soars here to almost 30C I am longing for some cold air. Stars are fascinating and the skies are very clear here with this hot spell of weather.
Words as bright as the subject! I am a starstruck tragic – check out my quintain ‘Dedication to Hawking’ http://michaelmcguire.me/2011/11/06/dedication-to-hawking-2/
